Trust & safety
Our policies, in plain language
Community Guidelines
- • Be the Magic — kindness first, always. This is a community, not a competition against each other.
- • Squad names, Elf Names, photos and Holiday Mission posts are reviewed. Anything hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or commercial-spam gets removed and may end participation.
- • Never post another person's private information, and never post identifiable images of children who aren't yours.
- • Report anything that doesn't feel merry. Every flag is reviewed by a human.
Privacy
- • Community lookup uses a ZIP code, city or county. Business and nonprofit applications also require an organization address and contact information.
- • Jr Elf and family participation is always adult-managed. We do not require public child names, exact locations or child imagery, and child profiles are not publicly searchable.
- • Location is used to show nearby magic and confirm shared visits. We do not sell personal data.
- • We never store or display raw card details. Payments are handled through a PCI-compliant hosted checkout provider.
Terms of Use
- • Elves Across America is an independent, nationwide holiday movement of compassion. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any outside nonprofit organization.
- • Acts of kindness are recorded as a participation history with no cash value. Participation history cannot be purchased, sold or transferred.
- • Community Partner listings provide visibility and measured engagement reporting. We do not guarantee foot traffic, revenue or search engine rankings.
- • Charitable giving Holiday Missions are fulfilled by verified partner organizations. Elves Across America does not collect, hold or distribute donated funds or goods.
